Rakes Cottage is one of six beautiful holiday homes created from a traditional stone barn on a working farm. Originally the cattle collecting yard and hayloft, it has been sensitively decorated to preserve its character and has everything you will need for your holiday.

Downstairs is a beautiful open plan space with a well-equipped kitchen/dining area featuring an electric cooker, fridge freezer and dishwasher, as well as a comfy lounge area for relaxing after a hard day exploring. Upstairs are two lovely bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with high ceilings, original beams and beautiful views, as well as modern ensuite bathrooms which have showers over the baths.

Outside is a lovely shared garden with plenty of seating for the summer months when gas barbecues are also provided for alfresco dining. If you’re wanting to holiday with another family you could book neighbouring cottages so you can have time together as well as your own space.
